Partnering with a variety of community organizations and institutions, we have been able to continue to deliver programs to thousands of girls across Durham Region. Girls Inc. of Durham works in partnership with local colleges, universities and high schools, who provide placement students from programs like Social Work, Nursing and Child and Youth Work. Our placement students have the opportunity to gain insight into all aspects of our agency’s operations, from office support to program implementation. Students gain first hand experience in group mentoring, facilitation, public events and fundraising.
